511. PM Modi gets Kuwait's highest honour ‘The Order of Mubarak Al Kabeer’
- On Sunday, December 22, 2024, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was bestowed with Kuwait’s highest national honour‘The Order of Mubarak Al-Kabeer’ at the Bayan Palace in Kuwait City by Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. This knighthood order is conferred on heads of state and foreign sovereigns as a symbol of friendship and diplomatic respect.
- The award, marking the 20th international honour received by PM Modi, recognized his role in strengthening India-Kuwait relations and was presented during his two-day state visit the first by an Indian Prime Minister in 43 years after a ceremonial welcome with a Guard of Honour. Talks focused on deepening cooperation in key sectors such as trade, energy, IT, pharmaceuticals, FinTech, infrastructure and security, and elevating bilateral ties to a strategic partnership.
- India PM visit at the invitation of the Kuwaiti Emir included outreach to the large Indian expatriate community and underscored India’s economic and strategic engagement, with bilateral trade exceeding USD 10 billion in 2023-24 and Kuwait serving as a key crude oil supplier for India. 512. Barbados Honours PM Modi's "Strategic Leadership" During Covid With "Freedom Award"
- On march6,2025,Indian Prime Minister was bestowed with the prestigious Honorary Order of Freedom of Barbados, one of the highest national honours of Barbados, in recognition of his “strategic leadership” and “valuable assistance” during the Covid-19 pandemic.
- The award was formally conferred in a ceremony held in Bridgetown, Barbados, where India’s Minister of State for External Affairs and Textiles, Pabitra Margherita, received the honour on behalf of India PM from Barbados President .

513. Nagaland’s first sewage treatment plant inaugurated at Shozukhu village
- Nagaland’s first sewage treatment plant at Shozukhu village in Dimapur district was inaugurated by the Minister of Public Health Engineering Department (PHED)
- This project has saved the skin of the (Nagaland) government because in any city in the country, the waste management plan is a cause of concern for the government of India.

514. Mauritius announces highest national award for PM Modi
- On March 11–12, 2025,India Prime Minister was conferred with Mauritius’ highest civilian honour the Grand Commander of the Order of the Star and Key of the Indian Ocean (GCSK) becoming the first Indian to receive this prestigious award, announced by Mauritius PM Navinchandra Ramgoolam at an Indian community event ahead of the National Day celebrations.
- The ceremony coincided with Mauritius’ 57th National Day celebrations on March 12, where PM Modi, invited as Chief Guest, expressed gratitude and dedicated the honour to the historic and cultural ties between India and Mauritius, highlighting their deep-rooted friendship and shared heritage.

515. Nagaland State Co-op Bank opens a branch in Noklak
- Noklak district which became Nagaland’s twelfth district got its first state-level cooperative bank in Noklak town
- In the new Nagaland State, the cooperative was inaugurated by MLA and chairman of the District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) P Longon.
- It is the first branch of the NStCB in Noklak, it is the twenty-second in Nagaland. Speaking on this occasion, Longon said the opening of the bank’s branch at Noklak will strengthen the local economy.

516. PM Modi awarded Sri Lanka Mitra Vibhushana: All about top Sri Lankan civilian honour
- On 5 April 2025, during his official visit to Colombo, Sri Lanka,India Prime Minister was conferred with Sri Lanka’s highest civilian award, the Mithra Vibhushana, by President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, recognising his role in strengthening India–Sri Lanka relations.

517. Nagaland gets its first medical college 60 years after statehood
- Kohima, September 7, 2023. Almost 60 years after its statehood, Nagaland finally got the state’s first-ever medical college – Nagaland Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (NIMSR).
- Union Health and Family Welfare Minister inaugurated the first medical college of the state, Nagaland Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (NIMSR), and realized the long-cherished dream of the people of Nagaland
- The NIMSR received the letter of permission for admission of 100 MBBS seats from the academic year 2023-2024.

518. First ever Nagaland Potato Festival held at Jakhama
- On May 10, 2024, Kohima is celebrating the organic products of Nagaland. Jakhama village in Kohima district held the first-ever Nagaland Potato Festival at Jakhama ground.

519. PM Modi receives highest honour of Cyprus: Dedicate this award to our friendship

520. Nagaland: 1 MW Ponglefo Small Hydro Electric Project inaugurated in Kiphire
- Nagaland’s Power & Parliamentary Affairs minister, on June 5, 2025, virtually inaugurated the 1 MW Ponglefo Small Hydro Electric Project (SHP) at Salomi village in Kiphire district.
